Wildlife Task Force Comments

• Agricultural landowners are urged to submit comments to the Wildlife Task Force as well as attending one of the upcoming Task Force Meetings or Listening Sessions.  The Task force has been charged with developing recommendations regarding the allocation of hunting licenses, changes to the landowner license program and hunting/fishing access.  These are very emotional issues that have a long controversial history.  Members of the Task Force need to hear from landowners across the state emphasizing the habitat that we provide for wildlife, the impacts, both positive and negative, that the wildlife and hunting have on our operations, and needed changes to the landowner license program. On-line comments can be submitted at Wyoming Wildlife Taskforce - Public Input (google.com). The next meeting is scheduled for November 18 in Casper.
